360 DEGREE VIEW OF LAKE COMO

The purpose of this project is to design a temporary exhibition pavilion sited on Lake Como, Italy. The project is located in North of City of Como near Tempio Voltiano. The intention of my project is to provide a 360 degree view of the exhibition space and Lake Como. Visitors can circulate along the spiral stairs on both side of the edge of the pavilion to have a panoramic view of the Lake Como, as well as perspective views of the arts inside the exhibition by looking through the windows. The exhibition gallery is on the ground floor that is just a few steps above from the wooden dock. Visitors can also walk on the roof to the observation deck where there is a large self-reinforced glass panels to allow maximum diffuse daylight into the gallery space. The area of the pavilion is approximately 650 square feet. The pavilion is an open gallery spaces that is able to accommodate ten to fifteen visitors at a single time. Visitors can access by the wooden dock from the pier. The structure is constructed with high-strength lightweight pipe steels that attached to the exterior skin.
